You’ve probably noticed that, in the discussion area of each post, some comments have personalized images beside them and some don’t. These images are called “gravatars”.
Adding your own gravatar beside your comments is quick and easy. You need just two things:
- Your preferred email address (the one you usually enter into the “Email” field when you post a comment)
- The image you want people to see beside your comments (if you don’t have your own image to use, try Avatarist)
Then head over to the Gravatar registration page and use them to create your own gravatar. Signing up takes two minutes.
That’s it! Then every time you post a comment on the 30 sleeps blog using the email from above in the “Email” field of the comment form, we will automatically look up the gravatar image linked to that email address and display it beside your comment.
