One aspirational contact per day

by bradb, completed 2 months ago

An "aspirational contact" is a term I picked up from Keith Ferrazzi's excellent book Never Eat Alone. It's someone who you'd really like to meet, but who might seem a little out of reach.

I've already contacted a few such people and got some responses (which I'll talk about soon in an article on how I applied Never Eat Alone in my life), but this month I want to turn this into a habit.

I just sent off an email to an aspirational contact. I think I'll omit the names of the people that I contact. I'll make notes about the ones who actually respond.

I think this'll be instructive in showing how critical failure and rejection are to success.

This has been going really well so far. I think I'll leave out the people I've made contact with too for now, and maybe write about it in a future article.

If I was doing really well so far with this, the results of the last few days have been nothing short of phenomenal. There'll be an article on this over the weekend.
