Implement “treadmill journaling” to assist in achieving my goals over the next 1-3 years.

Despite having a mentor who’s helped me to think about my long term goals, I’ve found that I’ve made some progress but am stalling out, to my disappointment. My long term goals include:
- to be working in a career field I enjoy
- to be more socially open, personable and articulate.
An article on lifehack suggests a “treadmill journal” as a way of breaking past sticking points. I think my goals, though extremely worthwhile, are daunting and intimidating without breaking the goal down into smaller tasks. This way I will do a little bit every few days, rather than trying to “run a few miles” every few weeks.
I’m quitting my job and leaving the continent June 1, 2008, so I want to brainstorm some ideas on what I wish to achieve during my sabbatical over the next year.

So far I haven't been doing the journaling everyday as I planned... But carrying a notebook with me everywhere is something I'm going to keep up. I've been finding myself "stuck" as what to commit to putting myself down for the next day, although I have no trouble brainstorming a list of ideas... Out of this, I have a new goal for my next 30 day trial.
